OBJECTIVE:

To support Bord Bia’s in-house team in maximising awareness of the National Organic Awards.

OUTCOME:

We worked as an extension of Bord Bia’s in-house team to deliver strong coverage across national and regional media in the areas of news, food, farming, lifestyle, regional print, digital and broadcast and trade. Our goal was also to highlight the incredible achievements of organic producers in the areas of sustainability, export, innovation, grocery retail, foodservice and direct selling. The PR campaign resulted in six pieces of national print coverage, 10 pieces of regional print coverage, 11 online-only coverage, two broadcast interviews and two pieces of trade media. Highlights included an award winners’ feature in the Irish Farmers Journal’s Irish Country Living supplement, four pieces of coverage in The Irish Examiner, an exclusive winners announcement on IrishTimes.com and two broadcast interviews with RTE Radio na Gaeltachta and KCLR.
